Lisa Whisenant MOT, OTR, C-MLD - Pelvic Health Therapist

Lisa is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 12 years of clinical experience across diverse settings including ICU, head and neck trauma, and complex rehabilitation. For the past 6 years, she has focused her career on pelvic health, where she combines deep clinical knowledge with personal empathy and holistic care.

Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University, followed by a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She is passionate about treating individuals with chronic pelvic pain disorders, drawing from advanced training in pelvic floor therapy with a focus on pregnancy, postpartum, and persistent pain conditions.

Lisa’s passion for pelvic health began after her own journey with endometriosis, pelvic pain and dysfunction, and the birth of her daughter. As both a clinician and a patient, she understands the challenges of chronic pain and is committed to helping her patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.

She holds many additional certifications to enhance the care she provides including:

  • Maternal Mental Health Professional from Postpartum Support International

  • KickPink Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Practitioner (the only one in the DFW area)

  • Holistic Manual Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner

Lisa lives in North Texas with her husband, Justin, and their three children.
